THE CONCEPT

Bagel Bagel Café opened its first location in Tallahassee, Florida-July 1991 as Bagel Bagel, “A Place So Nice We Named It Twice”. John Stout, founder of the concept, created the idea by utilizing skills he attained while working and managing a diverse number of restaurants in various regions of the country. John’s experiences have allowed him to create an eclectic menu with unique cooking techniques that makes Bagel Bagel Café the success it is today.

Upon opening its doors, guests have immediately been drawn to the signature sandwiches we serve, such as the “Wine & Cheese”, the “RBCC” and the” Florida Club”. Although the name gave the impression of a “bagel only” restaurant, the concept quickly earned its reputation as a great eatery for specialty bagel creations and outstanding breakfast and lunch sandwiches, thus it came to be known as Bagel Bagel Café.

Over the years, Bagel Bagel Café has become an institution to college students, business executives, families and catering clients for serving great bagels and distinctive breakfast and lunch items. We are a unique creative concept, where the motivation behind the idea has always been “about the food”.

It is our intent for people all over the United States to experience what Bagel Bagel Café has to offer. We know that our menu items keep people returning and the devoted guests of our establishments have boosted our success by just word of mouth alone. We are a restaurant company that believes the people that frequent our establishments are more than just customers; they are “Our Guests”. The goal of Bagel Bagel Café is to show everyone that we are more than “just bagels” and to recognize that we really are “A Place So Nice We Named It Twice”.
